Is it really free to start?
Yes. The trial is the full app — every van, door, and feature — for 15 minutes of active planning time, no download, no credit card. The timer only runs while you're actually editing, and when it ends your plan stays saved and viewable forever. One payment picks up exactly where you left off.
What does “lifetime” mean, exactly?
One payment covers the lifetime of the product: everything in the paid plan today, plus every van model and feature we add later. No renewal, no upsell to keep what you bought.
Which vans are supported?
27 vehicles in 159 length/height/drive variants, derived from manufacturer specs: Ducato, Boxer, Relay, ProMaster, Sprinter, Transit, Transit Custom, Crafter, TGE, Master, Movano, Trafic, Vivaro, Vito, Expert, Daily, Transporter, HiAce and more — each with interior dimensions and payload. More are added continuously, and lifetime buyers get all of them.
How do refunds work?

What's this about planting trees?
In July and August 2026, wildfires burned thousands of hectares of the Deliblato Sands — the ancient sand forest in Serbia, where VanPlot's founder is from. For every license sold, we fund a seedling through the Re:Generation of Deliblato Sands project (izobilje.com) and publish the receipts on this site. You're buying wood to build with; putting a tree back into a burned forest feels like the least a van tool can do.
Can I use my layout to actually build?
That's the point. The Build Sheet exports your cut list (framing exploded into individual stud cuts), a priced materials list and your power plan — take it to the timber yard.
Do you support right-hand-drive / US vans?
Interior layouts are drive-side independent, and the lineup covers both EU (Ducato, Crafter, Master) and US (ProMaster, Transit, Sprinter, Metris) favourites. Metric and imperial units both work — toggle in the editor toolbar.
Why this exists
I built VanPlot because planning a conversion meant juggling graph paper, a spreadsheet and a CAD tool that treated a van like a house. None of them could answer the questions that actually scared me: will it fit, will it tip, what will it cost.
So this is one tool that answers all three, runs in the browser, and costs less than the sheet of plywood it will inevitably save you. If it doesn't, you get your money back and keep the exports.
